Additional Projects from the Reserve List

In order to use as much of the funding available to the Programme as possible, and thanks to the high number of quality projects submitted within the Third Call for Proposals, the Reserve List formed after the Call served as a source of new projects for all the additional funding coming to the Programme since. Even in this late programme phase, some new projects still have a chance to be supported.

The assessment phase of the Third Call for Proposal resulted in a ranking list with a large number of good quality projects and the requested funding almost doubling the resources available within the frame of the Call. This prompted the decision-making bodies of the Programme to form a reserve list of projects to which all the additional funding coming to the Programme would be allocated, based on their scores.

The funding coming to the Programme as a result of Croatia’s accession to the European Union in 2013 and its access to the ERDF funding, as well as any left-over resources allocated to projects, but not used during implementation have been so far awarded, in several rounds of decisions, to a couple of dozens of projects featured on the Reserve List. Thanks to this, the number of projects being implemented within the Third Call for Proposals has reached a total of 63 projects, with many of them already completed.

Just like the majority of the projects in this call, so most of the reserve list projects are tourism-themed, hoping to contribute to the development of tourism in the region. This is also true in the case of the latest Reserve List project, Tour-Pack, that had its opening event on 17 March 2015. The project hopes to boost the attractiveness of the region to tourist by focusing on the joint elaboration of cross-border tourist programme packages.

The full list of all the projects awarded funding within the Third Call for Proposals, including the additional decision-making rounds can be found in the Call Archive section of the Programme’s website, while all the projects, including their short summaries, are featured in the Project Database.
