Second Call for Proposals

Launched as a result of hard work that took up the bigger part of the first half-year of 2010, the Second Call for Proposals marks a further crucial step in Programme implementation. The programme implementing structures are now ready to face a new challenge of overseeing the implementation of projects from the First Call with managing the application period of the Second Call at the same time.

Second Call Launched!

Two and a half years into its lifecycle, the Hungary-Croatia IPA Cross-border Co-operation Programme reached another major milestone. Following the preparatory work that covered the larger part of the first half of the year, the Second Call for Proposals was launched on 10 June 2010.

Partner Search Forum in Varaždin

The first partner search event of the Programme took place on 7 June 2010 in Varaždin, the seat of Varaždinska County, one of the adjacent regions of the Programme. The Partner Search Forum was attended by 150 representatives of potential project partners from as many as 50 different organizations from the whole Programme area.  The event was an opportunity for the potential project partners to form partnerships as well as to develop project ideas and get detailed information about the Programme.

Info Days Tour

In order to get the information about the Programme through to as many potential applicants as possible, Information Days organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme were held in each of the capitals of the seven eligible regions along the Hungarian-Croatian border.

Implementation of First Call Projects

While the Second Call for Proposals is only in its initial phase, it is now that we can witness the first visible results of the First Call, with the 42 projects selected for funding within the First Call for Proposals entering their implementation phase.

Zalacsány - Ceremonial Signature of Subsidy Contracts

The central event of the contracting phase for the projects funded within the First Call for Proposals was the Ceremonial Signing of Subsidy Contracts that took place on 6 May 2010 in Batthyány Kastélyszálló in Zalacsány, Hungary.

Project Kick-off Events

The enormous, but mostly invisible effort that has gone into project development and application process is finally being rewarded by visible results of the first projects starting with active implementation. Many of them commemorated the occasion by organizing opening events to present their efforts to the public.

Still to Come...

The Programme currently being in the high point of its lifecycle, with implementing projects from the First Call and lending a hand in the development of projects and partnerships for the Second Call for Proposals, is about to face many new challenges.
